Quikit AI is built on one principle: your files are yours. This policy explains, plainly, what the app does and does not do with your data.
When you pick an image or document, the app processes it in your device's memory and temporary app storage only. Results are saved only where you choose — your photo gallery or a folder you select. Temporary working copies live in the app's private cache and are cleared by the operating system; they never leave your device.
The app requests the minimum access the operating system allows. On Android, Quikit AI uses the system photo and file pickers, which require no broad storage permission — the app can only see the specific files you hand it. On iOS, the app asks permission only to save results to your photo library and to read the photos you select.
The Background Remover's "photo subject" mode uses Google's ML Kit subject-segmentation model. The model is downloaded once by Google Play services and runs entirely on your device — your photos are not sent to Google or anyone else by Quikit AI.
You may optionally sign in with Google to back up your Pro status and preferences. If you do, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. Nothing else — and no tool ever requires signing in. See Delete your account for removal.
The free version of Quikit AI shows advertising through Google AdMob: a banner on the home screen and optional rewarded videos you can choose to watch for extra free uses.
An optional Pro subscription (unlimited tool usage, no ads) is processed entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see or store your payment details.
The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand which tools are used (anonymous usage events such as "tool opened") and Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash reports so problems can be fixed quickly. These services collect device information and anonymized identifiers as described in Google's privacy policy. They never receive your files or their contents.
To delete your optional account and associated data, see Delete your account. Since we do not store your files, there is nothing else to delete.
Quikit AI is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any data from children.
